Recently, Sun TV has made the official announcement that it will donate Rs. 30 crores to the people who were affected by the second wave of covid 19 pandemics. Sun TV is an Indian Tamil language general entertainment channel. Lots of Tamil television programs premier on this channel. Sun TV is one of the most popular television channels in South Industry. Sun TV was also listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange on 24 April 2006 upon raising $133 million.
Sun TV Donates Rs. 30 Crore To People Affected by Covid-19
The donation will be spent on several initiatives currently underway at various states of India including the following:
- Donations to the various programs initiated by the Government of India and States Government
- Partnering with NGOs that are providing oxygen cylinders, medicines, etc.
In addition, the company will leverage its resource including all its media assets to spread greater awareness among millions of our TV viewing audiences across India and the Rest of the World.
