But the filmmakers need some additional images and need to complete some post-production work but due to the covid 19 pandemic, the filming was delayed. The filmmakers resumed the pending footage work in August 2020. Now, the filmmakers schedule the film for release on 25th June 2021.

In this film, the superstar actor of Indian cinema Ranbir Kapoor plays the main lead role along with superstar actress Vaani Kapoor, the prestigious actor of Indian cinema Sanjay Dutt, and the superstar actor Ronit Roy. In this film, Ranbir Kapoor plays the double role (as Shamshera and his father), Vaani Kapoor as Adarshini (dancer), Sanjay Dutt as Shuddh Singh (portraying the antagonist).
